Yes, Leonardo DiCaprio wears a dress and yes he and Armie Hammer kiss - now that that's out of the way, you can pay attention to Clint Eastwood's good movie. Not a great movie, but certainly worth seeing. The script by Dustin Lance Black (Oscar winner for Milk) tries to cover too much ground and the bouncing back and forth in time does not help. The production design and make-up are very good, but the cinematography is oddly drained of almost all the color. The performances are all interesting, in particular DiCaprio who would seem to be miscast, but is convincing throughout.
